Does anyone have video of a mantis shrimp breaking the tank

well that's not the video anyway. It's a very small (viewing size) clip of one cracking a snail's shell or something like that.

theres 2 kinds if mantis shrimps... smashers and crushers ( i think thats what there called(
i was so close to gettting one...

Not necessarily so. They build elaborate tunnel systems in the wild. If they come to something blocking the direction they want to tunnel, they'll smash their way through the barrier. That's most likely what happens in aquaria. When they're building a tunnel and meet the glass, their instinct is to smash through the barrier (glass).

I got hit by a mantis shrimp on Sanibel Island, it was very painful and bled quite a bit

smashers=crushers
