I feel ur pain.................. the hobby got me the other day, I had a metal bed frame leaned up against my wall (I was re-organizing my room), I knocked it over, and the leg went right thru my 20gl feeder fish tank, man my mom flipped
lol i think everyone in this hobby gets hit in the pockets guys, but you know what, at the same time, were giving good homes to good fish lol..... i mean the lady does get mad with all the time i spend on the tanks but like i always tell her, would you rather me fool around with the fish tank or another woman lol
The only space suitable for it was right beside the tv, then mum started complaining again because they'd put on a movie they'd rented and spend the entire film watching my Green Terror pilling stones infront of a plant pot instead.
Well all was going well. Parents didn't like exactly having to look at all of the tanks and crap in the room when they were doing the laundry but it was okay. But I was seeing if a newly aquired 55 would hold water. So I filled it up on a Wednesday night then left Thursday morning till Friday to pick up the GF at her college. Got a call Thursday during the day from my dad saying that one of the sides seams pretty much exploded and water was everywhere(it was cold out so I thought hey let's do it inside, I'm dumb lol). They had to clean it up all 55 gallons. Yeah so now they are a bit wary of the whole fish keeping idea. I told them that I would reseal the 55, they just frowned and said do it outside, lol. : )

I bought my wife 4 bunnies so it would keep her busy, so i could spend my time with my fish lol.
