Does melafix even work?

I went to my lfs and the woman working there gave me melafix when I needed to treat mouth fungus on one of my oryzias woworae. I did NOT want the rest of the colony to catch it. Ive been treating now for 5 days out of the recommended 7 with the correct amount..... the fungus is still there, just as It was days ago.
What else can I do?
Is it worth it to continue with melafix? Different medication?

The only half way useful thing I've found with melafix is helping heal up a few cuts on hardy cichlids. Even then, I don't use it much (maybe once in the last year?).

UGH. my lfs is retarded. going to buy prima fix tomorrow. bumped up the temp. did a water change. thanks guys.

I wouldn't bump the temp... And I would use an actual medication.

Ive used both and didnt see any results, only thing I liked about them, cant remember which one but one or both smelled really good

melafix and pimafix are total cash-grabs. not worth what you're paying for. they don't treat what they claim to. i honestly don't know how the company stays in business with bs products like that. you may as well just put green tea in your tank.
