Table salts contain trace amounts of non-clumping additives that DON'T show on the label along with Iodine. Look for plain <i>non-iodized</i> Sodium Chloride.

you can buy non iodized table salt also. sea salt also works and comes non iodized.

Did anyone try pealing the label of the bottle. There are some important words written behind it. Just beware when you use it very often. I try using it before and manage to cure some and died some. The funny thing is when i change water for that tank, the next monent most of my fishes knock out one by one when days to come. Anyone encounter this problem?

IME Melafix is about a half step above a 50% WC for the slightest of injuries. Maybe even less than a half.
