Thank you very much. Hopefully the old guy can still pull it off. I'm going to see about those videos as soon as I can. Maybe you guys can tell from watching.

Can anyone give me a heads up on how to get these videos to display right in the posts. I'm not having much luck. Hopefully you guys can see them.

you copy the last part of the link ( aNQBYFPjUoM&feature ) and put them inside the you tube tags :) to get the tags, hit the go advance button. then in the top right u should see the you tube tag.

Also, please forgive the video quality. You can tell I don't have the best phone. After watching these again I forgot I moved too close to the glass in the first video and both fish came out to flex at me. I guess they didn't appreciate me being too close.
I would be curious if anyone thinks that they are doing everything correctly. Or at least if they both seem to be working toward the same goal. This is the first time I have witnessed any of my cichlids during the fertilization period of spawning so I can't be sure. Like I said they both were working in sync during the process, but it seemed like the Dovii was egging the Dempsey in to doing his part. They were both circling the area following each other over the slab so as far as I can guess this should eventually work out. It was nice to see them both involved rather than having to guess whether this was just the Dovii laying eggs by herself. Any comments are very welcome and appreciated. Thanks again for the help with the videos too Koyote.

Looks like he is doin his job :woot::headbang2:thumbsup:
When my fish spawn I try my best to stay away from that tank it only distracts them and 9 times out of 10 all the eggs wont get fertilized. Cant wait to see if they are fertile and what the fry will look like!

Great, thanks. Yeah after I shot the video I got right out of there. I didn't want to interfere with the process, and they seemed to be telling me I was when they took time to come out and pump fake me. I'm excited too. So far so good. The eggs look good today. I'll post a picture.
