That's scary........ the fish in the link is not a dovii even though that page is being used as a reference........ I'd be suspicious of this vendor and that site!

I only buy from fishfarmusa on aquabid,ken is owner and on this site he goes out of his way to find a fish for you,they also arrive well packed and alive as for others I personaly wouldnt trust.sorry for your loss on what looks like a jag cross.

Just wondering, with people like Jeff Rapps offering to ship quality fish to you, why would you buy off some random person? I'd give my left one to be able to order fish from Rapps, you guys don't know how lucky you are....

if you read the entire thread i did want to buy off of one of these reputable vendors but i also wanted a medium sized dovii around 6-9 inches to go with my female festae but noone had any and thus checked out aquabid. however if you didnt read the entire thread i understand why you would ask that question because the vendors on mfk are great.

Correct me if I am wrong. but doesn't blackwater lower the PH? Is it possible that it died from a PH shock??
(amongst other things of course.)

You would not have found a medium sized dovi from fishfarm or rapps for 15 bucks

Doubtful, CA's are about as tough as they come when dealing with variable water parameters.

From the pictures it died of a lack of water in the bag.
