DOVII vs UMBEE - the ultimate battle!!!

Hes about 28cm which is roughly 11" I think? He used to come out a lot more than he does now, but I used to give him a lot more live food than I do now. He killed the female not long ago but even before that he was skittish. Even when they had fry to protect he would hide from me lol. Few months ago I'd forgotten I'd set the heater low so I turned it back up and still didn't make much difference in his activity.

Hehe yeh been round this place a while. Best online fish sight by far. Strange hey but I've been trying to spend time in front of him and he still hides He'll wonder out when I keep quite still but if I move to close or stand up he'll go an hide. I used to be able to chuck food in and sit there and he would come straight out an go for it. maybe I need to use feeders more frequently?
 
Umbee's are twice as nice looking as Dovii, but I've got no clue which is more aggressive.
 
Dovii's are my fav too, they colour more up than umbee's

It's 100% personal preference. Everyone has different taste, hence the saying "to each their own".

I prefer Dovii as well but I respect other peoples opinions.
