Thanks guys, the Umbee has always been chill, dovii every once and awhile gives the umbee gill flares and tail slaps but is funny because he also gives the Umbee head shakes lol which I always thought was more of spawning language?

Just noticed the dovii the other day gill flaring at me lol sure its just the start lol

I bet that dovii wants a piece of that umbee lol. Both are great looking fish. I always thought head shacking was an "I'm irritated" sign. I've had same sex fish do this to each other. Of course cichlid pairs can become irritated with each other quite easily.
