Maybe I will search for Swype. Why is it so much better than SW?

I can't find NFL Mobile.

Craigslistnotifications is downloading now.
Hmm just checked the nfl app. It shows up on the market for me because I have it installed, but it said it was for a limited time only offered by vzw. I think they may start charging for it now :(

As for swype its speed and accuracy is amazing. So good that it's now Oem software on many phones. These are the same guys that inveted T9 texting a few years back

Nice find!! I was gonna say I could email you guys the .apk file :)

Lol the iphone's a joke! The 4 just came out and it's already outdated, not to mention it's pathetic hardware issues. Only thing iphone has at this point is its smooth and polished OS. Other than that, it blows. Anybody who is still a fanboy these days is well, a confused fanboy and/or has never touched an android phone :)

We'll see what's still standing a few years from now. I'm sure the driod marketplace will be another short lived phase. If the iphone were opened up to other carriers, you'd see alot more of them then you already do.

We all have different loyalties and tastes so it's doesn't really matter. Just a fun pointless debate. Y'all enjoy your phones

yeah, its pointless but still fun to argue about something as silly as cell phones ;)

short lived was the windows mobile OS. android is a different story. people have been saying android will fail for months. do you stay up-to-date at all in the tech world? have you seen the market shares for each? i'm confident apple isnt going anywhere, but it is no longer the main player in the smart phone world as it was years ago.

the android vs apple war is gonna be the same as the apple vs PC war; apple's restrictive practices will eventually hurt their market share. that's why PC is the universal platform and apple computers are only used by a small niche. apple is alienating themselves the same way in the smartphone world.

if steve jobs isnt worried, then he's stupid. he knows whats going on. not only does he have to worry about Google/Android that has made incredible leaps and bounds in the past couple months with their OS', but they also have to worry about phone manufacturers that are running android. Motorola, HTC, Samsung to name a few. these are no names to be taken lightly. android phones are coming out every 2-3 months, each more ridiculous than the other. meanwhile apple is pushing out one phone every couple years. see the pattern?

by the time you get the next iPhone there will have been dozens of awesome android phones. after the original motorola droid there was the Nexus One, the HTC Incredible, the HTC Evo, now the Droid X. in a few months will be the Droid Pro with a 12mp camera, 2ghz processor and 1gb of RAM.

gotta wake up and smell the microchips. there's no reason to put up with apple and AT&T's controlling BS anymore. i love all these high tech gadgets. each one that comes out only pushes the bar more. while i love to hate on apple they do make cool products. the cameras on their phones are still the best ive seen to-date. ill give credit where credit is due.

but blindly saying 'zomg droidz are teh sucks and iphone winz' without having a clue isnt very smart ;)

WinMo has been around since 2000, how was it short lived? The main problem that I see w/ Android is that their are so many phones. They need to cut down the list a little bit or at least make sure that they can all be updated to a new firmware at least a few times before they're obsolete. iPhones I just get bored of staring at all the little squares on the screen all the time and how ignorant the Apple company is. Their should be more Android apps available soon now that the development program has been released, http://appinventor.googlelabs.com/about/

*waves the white flag* lol, i'm not saying you're right, i just don't see the point of debating it any longer. The only way this debate will ever be settled is by looking back at it in a couple of years.

P.S. Yes i do keep up on reviews but i'm not the type that runs out to get the next gadget everytime one comes out, we all know a few months later somethin will top it and what's more annoying then that? All in all, i think competition is healthy and we'll ALL benefit from it. So it's nice to see apple being pushed

BTW, me even bringing up iphone was a complete derail. My bad.

I agree that we're being bombard with alot of andriod phones. Some people can't tell the difference between "driod" and "andriod". I guess it probably came at the general public pretty fast and they'll catch on eventually. However, how much better would apps be on the iphone if more then 2 phones could use it? Granted you can use them on ipod and ipads also. Still looking at only a handful of devices.
