For instance, the blackberry i had before offered it, but it was AWFUL. navigation was clunky and terrible, the screen was bad, the apps were archaic and there was nothing to really do other than wish I had something different. When I got the chance, I went to an iphone, and I've been pretty happy with the phone itself, but the dropped calls are annoying as can be.
The droid has an app market, but the apps are still subpar in quantity and quality. Theres no itunes, I just upload into folders, which I prefer over the proprietary itunes. But the sound quality and the interface are nowhere nearly as polished as the apple. The droid is more open and flexible, the iphone is better put together straight out of the box.
Granted, Im judging the iphone solely based on my experience with the ipod touch.
