If you catch a fish in a canal, near a fish farm, not in the country of origin. Is that really a "wild" fish.

Just thinking out loud, do not get me wrong, I think your fish is great.

Well, that's a debatable topic, now isn't it? ;)

Just as FYI, they are breeding in that canal. :)

Well, you know that I am not the dabating type:D I was just looking for your opinion.

Once again nice fish, both of them.

Maybe not wild but "liberated" would be a better term.

I am leaving to Mexico tomorrow, I have some relatives with large isolated farm ponds down south. I am thinking about putting in some dovi fry I have, then I could go every year and catch "liberated" fish myself.

Feral would be a good description if it was released into the canal. If it was bred in the canal, would that make it wild? ;)

Wild.....Liberated.....Feral....who really cares when they look like that, unless it's for bragging rights.

shots are looking great, esp spencers fish

Haha!

How about the dovii in Lake Arenal in NIcaragua? The lake is manmade, and the dovii were stocked into it. Wild or not? Hahaha!

ALL THESE LABELS! GRRRRR!
