Ear stretching and other body mods

As a side note, you said earlier that you wanted to stretch up to 1" on your ears. My advice is 'take it slow.' If you bump up too fast you'll experience a blow out. Also, My Fiance just bumped up to 1-1/8" last night and I gotta say, it looks ten times better than just 1". I keep trying to convince her to go to 2" but she says she's sticking with what shes got haha.

any pics of ur tat man?
Yes, I am strongly anti-religious. The whole idea of it just baffles me. But I'm not going to spark up an arguement. Noone's really a winner in religious debates.

And nah. Not yet. He's still putting some finishing touches on it and then he's gonna send it to me. The kid's only 18, but for his age, he has done some phenominal work. His shading is probably better then his own father's, who has been tattooing for 20+ years. I'll probably end up going over to the shop today to hang out.

Oh I already know man. :D I had a blow out at a 2g. While it wasn't very big, it was an awful experience. I woke up with black blood running down my face on more than one occasion. I've been toying with the idea of even stretching again though. My ears are down to just a tad bit bigger than a normal piercing (probably about a 12g or so) and for now I may just stick to tattoos. In the future, it's very possible that I will stretch that big. It's all about when I get my degree and where I get hired. Audio engineering opens up a broad horizon. I'll more than likely start under someone as a sound technician and then eventually start to work on opening my own studio. Then I'll be free to modify myself however I'd like.

The topics of "straight edge" and "religion" should never have been brought up.

Why put a title on your beliefs? It's just another way of labeling yourself.
Live your life, keep your beliefs to yourself and mind your own business.
Do what is right for you while respecting others!

ANYWAY!

Back on topic.

I stretched my ears to half inch, but due to improper placement of the initial piercings, my lobes began thinning. I prefer a much thicker look around the jewelry.
So I removed my plugs and allowed my ears to shrink and thicken.

I plan on making a trip to California and let renowned body modification expert at Nomad, RENO, correct my ears by scalpelling them.

I plan on going to three'fourths. It's a size that I am comfortable with and I feel it suits me.

It is an intensely spiritual process to me. Adorning my body feels wonderful.
I can't wait to have it done. :)

My lobes stretched to half inch. I miss these.
As you can see, I have plenty of "lobe" to work with.
I will have Reno cut further back into the lobes, away from
what was the thinning outer lobe.

I will update when the scalpelling is complete!

i love GOOD tattoo work- as i worked as an artist in texas many years ago..crappy work is another story.. i just love tattoo work. as far as body mod'ing-i also like the stretched lobes-to an extent.

i like Toms (the poster previous to me) lobes-they look good.

as far as your age, it doesnt matter that youre young. i got my first tats at 18-and kept going -i have 7 now, and if i could i would get more.. my only advice is to think ahead when tattooing.. NEVER get a girlfriends name--stick to family lol.. and watch some of the cartoon characters-they make you look dated as you age. and most of all, make sure the artist is talented, and clean, and they use top quality ink. pay the extra money for good work.

How do you keep blowing your ears out so much? What are you using to stretch? If you are using tapers throw them away. Let your ears naturally stretch. You will never blow out anything again and your ears will be very healthy.
I have 7/8th lobes right now and I'm stretching back up to 1 and 1/8th where I was a year and half ago when I took them out. I actually want to go bigger than that. I also have my nostril done along with PA stretched to a 2. I have had a labret, orbital, medusa, My septum(which was stretched to 6, I can still put a 14 through it just dont wear jewelery in it) and my smiley(favorite piercing of all time, Got ripped out a show. :irked: )
