Eating From Your Tank(?)

Cows, Pigs, Sheep, and other farm animals are different than average domestic animals. Plus, I don't even consider them to be pets; I consider them to be food. When I say domestic animals, I mean dogs, cats, small animals like rabbits, hamsters, chinchillas, etc., and birds, fish, and horses. I don't consider cows, chickens, etc., pets; I consider them food.

The fish you mentioned are game and aquarium fish, meaning fish for eating or potential eating. Most people don't even have the space for those. And while I haven't had crocodiles, I've had their cousin, alligators, and those are some dang good eating. Especially with fried with Cajun Spice...dang it now I'm making myself hungry lol.

Eating excess fish...? Nah. Most fish fry don't even get large enough to be popcorn nuggets in the aquarium hobby. I would rather sell them and make money to buy food or use them for food for larger fish, depending on the size. I consider most fish too pretty to eat anyway; who would fry up Discus or Asian Arowanas and put them on a dinner plate?
Cows pigs sheep and all that crap are your average domestic animal. Rabbits are a great food source. One of my all time favourite foods. There isn't too many domestic birds or fish.
Doesn't matter what you consider.
What do you mean aquarium fish have potential for eating? That's what the whole thread is about. I thought you were against that.

If I remember correctly Aquarium Coop ate discus whilst in peru.

There are three animals I don't eat, 1. Rabbits, 2. Doves and 3. Sheep. The last two are for personal religious reasons, while the first one is because I could never do that, as I've had a rabbit (Elvis) for the past decade. I can't even fathom eating rabbit. Even if it were the last animal on Earth, I would never eat it.

I wasn't supporting the idea that aquarium fish should be eaten; I was saying that since most of y'all agree on eating them. I definitely think it's wrong either way.

I don't got any problem with your religion. Haven't heard of one that doesn't eat doves and sheep but I'd love to know.
I wouldn't eat my pet, (or someone else's) but others are fair game in my mind. I don't consider much of my fish to be my pets. But some definitely are.

My religion does eat doves and sheep, it is just my personal preference not to eat them, I find it somewhat sacrilegious since they are both major symbols of my religion. My religion is very open about what we can eat... actually, to my knowledge, we don't have anything that is forbidden to eat.

If you plan to eat your fish
The fish have to be fed on a feed that is meant for human consumption

Just take a moment and think about what you've stated here, at the same time applying your statement to other animals that humans eat.....such as lambs or cows for example.

Your logic would mean that lambs and cows meant for human consumption can't eat grass because grass isn't fit for human consumption!!

A bit of a silly statement really, and that is what Trouser Cough Trouser Cough has picked up on.
