Maybe it's a generational gap but cnn not reporting something doesn't prevent me from finding out what I want/need to know. We live in a world where social media is huge. Everyone and their mom has a cell phone, laptop, tablet. Had their been a news worthy break out, you'd have known about it via trending on the Internet. I really don't get how freaking out over every time someone said I don't feel good, I THINK I MIGHT HAVE EBOLA, was good for the country? You have far too much faith in humanity if you expect them to react rationally to this type of information. People were getting angry at strangers for having common colds and flu like symptoms. People were trying to dictate what those people can and can't do. Like many people pointed out, the number of illness and actual deaths is tiny compared to things we SHOULD actually be freaking out about. Why is that unimportant? Why continue to spread fear of Ebola while ignoring things that are killing you, your friends, your family, your community?
