Another not if but when is when will the Cascadia Subduction Zone go off..by your location you may be impacted too.. like us. We could stash 3-6 months of food and water. But we could also be wiped out by fire before the big one.. or maybe we'll surcomb to the Corona virus
On another note, we just put a small table by the front door with hand sanitizer gel, masks and disinfecting wipes by the front door at my mother's house. She is medically fragile and we don't want people gifting her with viruses.
Schools closed here in Florida for 2 weeks. My office is screening but no cases yet. Seeing lots of flu though. No days off for me. Flew last week but wouldn’t suggest it again. Stores are out of toilet paper, a few canned food types and no hand gel.
I could be considered part of a risk group, but I am more worried about my savings than my health.

Sun is out. I am healthy now. I work from home already with lots of virtual contact with clients and colleagues. Gardening season and big plans for my new sandy landscape. I have interests that can be solitary like birding and lots of new places to explore with all the state parks in Ocean County. I can plot an outing to see the nocturnal river otters in my new environment. My employer has 63,000 employees globally and only 2 infections at this time in France.

Fish withdrawal due to NJ auction reschedule. Jack Tempchin concert cancelled last night. NJ Native Plant events cancelled. Southern Ocean Birding events cancelled.
Here is hoping that the actions being taken in March will turn the corner and new cases will begin to decline so we can begin to get back to normal before the summer.

I live near New Rochelle, NY where the National Guard has been called in. All of our schools are closed, literally everything has been cancelled. I work in the vet med field, so I have to continue to go in.
I'm worried about my finances if my or my boyfriends' job closes more than contracting this virus. We would take a horrific financial hit.

Man, my shipment of fish from china from myhomenature.com got cancelled and refunded. My high school and college are closed as well which is awful for me as 2/3 of my college classes I literally can't do online. I am also worried that I will have to wait more time to make an order from aqua imports I've been waiting to make.
