Our Safeway was low on other things like ice cream. No TP, these work--just rub between your hands to soften a little:

Yesterday at Walmart, an attendant was wiping down the self-check monitors and scanners, etc., before allowing the next customers to use them.

These jerks aren't helping the situation:
Went to Walmart last night and the lines were ridiculous. People are hoarding up the tp and water.

posted on this in the lounge already, jest? nice run through for when the mean one comes along but this one aint it.
I agree, even though this one spreads fast. It's only got about a 3% death rate. It's mainly the elder and people with immune issues that are dying.

My state just canceled school and extended spring break.
I think this is all pretty nuts. Especially since it isn’t crazy deadly.
Other then having to go to over 5 stores just to get tp and find bottled water for my husband we aren’t really effected, yet.
I wish the general public understood that if everyone just bought things as they need it(like normal) then we wouldn’t have these crazy shortages everywhere.
Walmart was out of all tp, paper towels, nearly all napkins, bottled water, instant noodles, hand sanitizer, and soap. Those are just the things I noticed.
Oh, and a lot of vitamins were sold out too.

Same here for school and about to head out to Walmart at 5:40am to get some essentials. One day people will figure out it’s not like Italy yet.

Schools out for 6 weeks. Oh and this....

No time frame was given on how long the restrictions will last. According to the governor's office, the new rules are as follows:

Restaurant and bars, will close
Entertainment and recreation centers will close.
Grocery stores and pharmacies will remain open.Restaurants can continue delivery and take-out services.Retail outlets can stay open with reduced occupancy. All gatherings over 50 participants will be prohibited. All gatherings under 50 participants will be prohibited unless previously announced criteria for hygiene and social distancing are met.

Best of luck finding what you need!

Yikes. I did see a notice pop up on my phone about the 50 people restriction, but didn’t look to see where that was for.
I really hope not too many places shut down. It’s going to hurt a lot of families to lose income from all this.

Thanks. Well didn’t have any tp in stock at Walmart. Big line before opening. As I got to my to leave I see a lady next me with a cart full of water. The historian continues. Smh!

If you have any mom and pop grocery stores I’d check them out. It was were we finally found some. I wish people would stick to buying only one or two packages as necessary. We don’t keep more then we need for a few weeks at a time on hand. We were down to 4 rolls when I realized this craze had already overcome the area. Just nuts.

The water thing really made me angry. We don’t drink our well water because of agricultural run off. We don’t have access to city water like most people. Why are the city people buying so much water? Are they expecting the electricity to go out? I don’t get it.

They aren’t thinking straight. Probably think the zombie apocalypse is real or something, lol. This happens when we get hurricanes here in Florida.
Will definitely check other stores out.
