Eheim 2217 vs SunSun 304b

I can get a used eheim 2217 from someone I know for about the same price as a brand new sunsun 304b.

I just wanted everyone's opinion on which I should go with. I assume this debate is quality vs turnover rate. Which is more important?

The eheim pumps around 200 gph while the sunsun claims to pump around 500 gph. I'm leaning towards the brand new sunsun but I'm all ears with feedback.

I think those filters are really in two different size classes. The 304B is just a larger filter. The 2217 is more closely comparable to the 302B, or maybe the 303B.

With that, I recommend the SunSun 304B over the used Eheim 2217.
