Hold on here, you want to keep a 2ft fish in a tank that has a width of only 2 foot? It would be 15 point turns for that fish in order to go in the opposite direction.:screwy:
not really as they are incredibly flexible i would say 6x2x2 is ok for 1 until its 24", wildwoods had smaller ones at 12" about a month so it might be worth trying to get a smaller one so you can get a bit of enjoyment out of it first before having to give it up.

bruce to be honest, this has been rolling around in my head allday, i dont think its a particularly nice idea to import another e-eel into the uk, i know of three in recent years that have been put down as no one was willing to home them after they out grew the keepers tanks, ok fair enough take one ofm the ones in the country on, but to import another and for lfs to keep importing them is like lfs selling reline snakeheads for £6 as comunity fish in my personal opinion... im not trying to sell you the one at my mates as it may seem that way, it just didnt click in my head till earlly that i known of three having to be putt down, if u find someone in the uk or even europe to house over a 4' e-eel ud be extremely lucky so if you do really it needs to be a comitment to the life of that fish!

Do not take it for granted that over grown fish are easy to place...that is increasingly not the case..
