The market for captive bred animals is huge, and they'll move at the highest prices......
That's the only way to have success at keeping/breeding these guys, and any Monitor really.......Raise a group of hatchlings together and you'll never have problems........Try to pair two wild caught or captive raised animals that havn't been raised in a certain social structure and you'll encounter every Varanid problem in the book.......Including a possibly violent death......
