Here post equipment that fishkeepers should stay away from or stuff that breaks easily. keep it clean and no arguing. also dont post things that last long. theres another thread for that.

Mine is All Glass brand heaters. ive had two that broke within a month.

to me all the Marineland Penguins ....All start crapping out and i always gotta shoot out the impellers. and sometimes the "bio wheel" falls off and doesnt even spin.

Coralife digital timer/power strips! Bought two, returned one, now neither works!

walmart aquarium thermometers, i've gone thru 3 one stopped working, and the other 2 never worked to begin with. i thought a thermometer is thermometer but i guess not.

i got one. the biorb or reef one products. the tanks suck and are the worst to take care of. all around suckish product. i might get rid of mine but ive got hundreds of fry in it and needed snails for my puffer. maybe later.

Buy the analog I bout one after buying the digital and then returned it for analog. The analog timer works great !

i have 2 penguin 350s and they work fine. my 200 got sand in it though and wouldnt stop making this grinding noise even after i cleaned out the impeller part. i have a topfin 20 for my 10 gallon and its decent, very quiet when its topped up, cant even hear it.

ive had a few filters that make a loud clicking noise but it stops after a whack. i think its aquatec that does that.
