alot of people on here complain about the poor quality of these heaters nowadays aparently all the stealths used to be made in italy for the longest while then like 2 years ago the company switched to making them in china and low and behold the problems started.

Actually... API Accu-Clear works quite well at eliminating a free floating algae bloom (just shake it very well, and put it into the filter or it makes the water gray). Any other product, I completely agree with you though.

Hmm, good to know. I've never had cloudy water or an algae bloom in my personal tanks, but at work I have constant problem with it (algae blooms). I know I tried the Tetra Water Clarifier, and some other brand, and it truly made the water cloudier. The Algae Destroyer stuff works well, but I always lose quite a few fish when I use it.

I'm going to go a step further and say 99% of Tetra products should be avoided .

I could see flocculants being significantly safer than algaecides. Still, neither addresses the underlying problem, only the symptoms.

Python water changers are pieces of crap!!!! They build the plastic parts so flismy so you have to keep buying their parts. Get the Aqueon water changer. it's built sooooo much better

Python is just a silly overpriced series of valves and hoses. There's nothing you can do with one that you can't do with two hoses (one to siphon out, one to fill) and a faucet fitting.

Quiet One 9000 pump: sure they are cheap, and move alot of water.

They suck arse because they are very loud and went bad on me after 7 months.
