it is science, there are many species of peacock bass and not all of them attain those monster sizes. Some species will not grow more than a few pounds. On the other end of the size spectrum, the monster species of pbass grow to nearly 30 pounds. Quite a difference based on genetics and science, not common sense. Just because you see two things, does not necessarily mean it is cause and effect. If you have a 300 gallon tank, look into the smaller species of pbass. So Im not sure how I am being so thick that I cannot get it through my head that the fish absolutely must be stunted, and I think I will talk about health. There are multiple factors that come into play when you talk about size of tank. I would prefer fish to be healthy AND not stunted
