i am looking at there website glasscages.com and was wondering if this is to good to be tru or is they are p.o.s. tanks

they have a 96x24x31 300Gal. tall tank for 895$ and after you customize it its 1185 and thats with starphire front glass and glass tops then add 100$ to ship it to columbus (close to where i live)

so is a 300 tall thats 96x24x30
w/starphire front glass
and glasstops
=1185 worth it ???

and has anyone ever heard of these ppl or bought from them ???

yup many many people buy from glasscages. i have not but i know from people who have, and many have had good experiences with them, and others not so great, there was a small debate whether they are worth it with there large aquariums being that they are cheaper than tenecor or the like and some people have had experience with tanks breaking, and others just fine.

I have a 180g, bought used though, and I am perfectly happy with it.

great i think i might end up with one of there's they are the only place that i have found that does biger then a 265 (glass) and they wanted 1100 or 1200 for it and i can get a 340 from these guys for 1200 i think that extra 75 gal is worth it for the money and i think that thats about the biggest tank i can get in my house lol keep em comming if you have heard anything else about them i am really interested in one if you guys have alot of positve things to say about them

my 180 is fine, their trim quality is not the best but the tank overall is great i love mine and would definitely buy again

question for ya u live in arizona how did u get it shipped 180 is a big tank to have shipped did you do the to door thing or go to a pick up location ?

From what I read on their site is that they ship it to an approved dealer (like a LFS) and then you pick it up from there. They still tack on a hefty shipping charge, but this makes it cheaper since they ship to these stores anyways they just add it on to the order.

they will transfer it on a big truck and you then pick it up from there, if you want the saphire glass make sure you call ahead of time as it is a special order deal. give them a call and see what they say very friendly people
