Personaly, I would be offended that offense was taken by the person that is offended. After spending all the time and money to get a Budda or dash board Jesus situated all nice and peacefull like in my tank and have some whinny ****** tell me that it was blasphemous. I would offend them again and send them to the curb.

buddha was a spoiled rich kid ( siddartha) who travelled and then sat under the bodhi tree untill he became enlightened ( simple version)
so what would a statue of buddah represent....a dead man who became enlightened and his students created a philosphy around his teachings...hoping for enlightenment for themselves ( which in itself is a contradiction)....
I would probably try to make the tank more offensive. But I make my own ceramic ornaments and have one that says "poop deck"
