Ever had buyers remorse? ( For Fish ??)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thats what those unused mayonaise jars are for right?

I have actually bought fish and inverts because I felt bad for them! I knew they were just going to die at the lfs due to overcrowding, poor tankmate selection, improper lighting, or what ever. I got my dwarf lion fisn that way and now i feel bad because I have to set up another tank to keep some cardinal fish in. The lion is now in excellent health and loves crusing around my reef tank looking for food. the lfs had him in a 5 gallon tank! unbeliveable.

Regret buying a 20 inch jardini the most. He killed everything in the tank.

This was years ago, sights like this to research fish were non existant, and no literature I read warned me what badasses jardinis are. Thought I just had a psycho individual. Since I''ve been here, found out better.

Also regret not buying a 10'x5' glass tank advertised for $500. Now looking at buying a similar size one, and it'll end up costing me close to 10K. Lesson learned...when a monster tank goes for cheap, snap it up! Even if you have no space, or thinks its too big, you'll probaly regret it in the future when your circumstances change.

of coarse ;)

i was the worst of the worst :(

we all had to start somewhere. I used to scare pacus in the tank so that they would get banged up real hard. After a while, the lip area would just fall off and it would show off the
ferocious teeth. That, used to be my goal. Horrible, no ?
