ever mix bichir with catfish?

I keep Bullhead cats with Ornates. The Florida Gar would have a field day with the bullheads though!

i would say a asian rtc they seem to have a smaller mouth and less aggressive but still would push other fish out of their cave like my own. He doesnt bother my corycat or bichirs.

I don't know, an asian rtc is extremely aggressive, I wouldn't comm it with any fish. I have kept an ornate with some brochis. It may not be possible if the ornate is larger or the brochis smaller.

I have 3 spotted raphs with my bichirs and ropes. I can't stand them. They are living vacuum cleaners. I have to constantly feed for a half hour just to make sure the polys get their food.

lol that sucks alot. my friend has a raph that doesn't leave its cave untill all the lights are out, at which point it goes onto eating all the remaining food in the tank. as for the red tails and niger cats, they're just way to big for a 180
