my first tank was a 10 gallon starter kit. it cost a rediculous amount of money( i think over a hundered) bugged my parents for months. I had a koi some neons ,that the koi ate, and a blue gourami that just wouldnt die, had the thing for like 3 years till I found down the hall one morning. ahh the memories.

  • Mine was a 10g Starter kit too, probably early 80's - Various Tetras/guppies
  • Then college with multiple 10g's in dorm room - Pred's (snakeheads, pirahna, gars, oscars, etc)
  • 55g with first paycheck I ever received - Pred's - Red line snakeheads, Aros
  • I bought my house and added 240g Fresh for Arowana (Now Saltwater).
  • Then 55g Fresh sold and replaced with 75g Salt
  • Finally a 180g Fresh added as well

Funny how things spin out of control...lol

well ten years ago i had like 20 bettas...but this is the very first tank i housed one in...with a comparison to now. my folks say it's really great progress...and yet i don't feel it's enough:D

Damn I see that some people have the little plastic tanks then some that are nice and grew. I went from that 55 straight to a 150g (my current 5x2x2) then bout a year or two later I got my 220g which I still have the 150 and 220

Come on guys gotta keep it going. How about your first tank as an adult? Would like to see more pics of peoples tanks but since it was so long ago no pics. So lets see more pics!!

i wouldnt call mine a "tank".... but when i was 4 i stole 3 of my sisters goldfish out of her tank and put them in my moms clear waterbed. next week when she changed the sheets she found 3 dead goldfish staring up at her through the plastic... i blamed my sister, after all it wasnt me who owned fish.......

MORE!! must have more!!
