Expensive Fish For Sale

I can get Flowerhorns and they're illegal in SA. Found some good prices on tanks whilst out on Sunday, other then that 10x3x3 for $10,000. 72"x16x22" around $200, several cheap 4"s but the deal of the day a 8'x2'x2' on stand $1,200 and the kind of person the store keep is you could have knocked it down or got discounts on the filters/heater/fish with it.

Steve, I shop on the North side of Brisbane. Not many 'Top Notch' LFS, if there are, I havent found them. Its called The Ultimate Aquarium. Should be in the yellow pages.

yeh i saw a 20 cm clown fer 30. u are idiing the price is outrageous i saw a 1ft rtc fer 120. silvers do cost a heap. theres native fish specialist store at kenmore hills near the gap that has red jars and leichs etc fer rougly 100-120. and the red jars 180. aquariums rus can sell 10 ft tanks fer cheap. also i can get cichlas fer 195 at atlas aquariums. if u were interested cichla i could ship them down for u but dont ask the secies name as all i can do is ask them.

hey amehel0, where did you see the 20cm loach for 30 dollars.... from a fish shop??? man i'd be keen for some... i'd be keen for some big ones like those....

i suppose it depends on seasons too for some types of fish esp when they are wild caught..... i think the prices flucuates i.e. cheaper when high season where the wholesalers just have holding tanks of fish so they will be keen to get rid of them.... i quite like "exotic fish connection" guys there are very helpful and fair prices...
