dont know if anyone cares
but i bought a 125gal, bought an ac110. just have to finish the canopy, arrange the lighting setup, and get an xp4.
the little guy is in a 55gal right now, he is only about 3-3.5 inches, but eating like a pig and growing like a weed. he loves mussels, even more than the shrimp or crayfish. i guess they all have thier favorites

he loves the sand too. i have never seen him in the sand, because he's always swimming happily around the front of the tank by the time i get over to it, but i see sand on his body so i assume he cozies up in the sand.
i clean up after him every day, (this guy is worse than a dog) and do 30% WC a week.
working double time to get the 125 ready
this is by far a better fish than i could have asked for. so much personality, and so smart.
thanks for all the help so far, and im sure i'll have more questions to come.[/quote
Agreed, nice choice, An AC110 and XP 4 is what I use on my 125 and a weekly WC of 50% and I never have quality issues. Just be sure you do gravel vacs when doing WC. Or sand in your case.
I run an FX5 (with nothing but Biological Medium) and XP4 on my 150, but it houses still growing large cichlids .
