Probably because they came up with the plot as they went, I mean, they probably didnt plan to make this many, but since they were making truckloads of cash, they just went for it.
Makes sense to me.

Who knows, why was Star Wars released out of sequence?
They could have ran out of ideas to continue the current story, Tokyo Drift was released when the "Drifting Scene" was getting big, so they prolly saw a potential money maker and went for it.
Yeah, that was my suspicion when Drift was released...to jump on and capitalize on the drifting fad.

Nope...I have been on my days off from work since saturday afternoon and I return on Tuesday evening. I've just been doing yard work or vegging around the house since then, talk about lazy.:grinno:

i like the racing world and really want to get into the car customization hobby when I get older, and while the plot isn't great in any of the movies (including the 5th, since I've seen it), the action is pretty good as well as the cars. and the women are always fine. And I didn't read all of the comments, but OP, if you haven't seen it yet, you'll be pleasantly surprised. That's all i have to say. It was the best of the series IMO, and I'm definitely going to see it again, possibly twice just for the koenigseggs, my favorite cars. The ending is great, but stay until after the credits

Apparently you've never been to see a REAL race. You don't pass tech with a POS. You do pass tech inspections with well put together machines. I am at a race a week (at least), and see all sorts of $100,000 - 200,000 cars out there getting pushed to the limits. What you don't see (or at least see going fast) are Civics with body kits, dead weight wheels, stickers and loud exhaust.

Lol you forgot to mention that those dead weight wheels are 19" on a civic :ROFL::ROFL: oh and the painted interior pieces.

lol some of you crack me up trying to compare a movie to real raceing...lol its a movie just like any other movie its hollywood, ment for our entertainment. if it was realistic the movies would be so boreing no one would watch them... hahahaha :)

I go to the track all the time, for those who say there no such thing as fast import need to get out more often. i seen 9-10 sec honda, eclipse and many more imports that would dogg many american muscle cars in tthe quarter mile :) it all in how much money u can put into the car for the setup.

Who cares about 1/4 mile, anyone can be fast in a straight line.

Alright, I hope they do bring Michelle Rodriquez back, she should have stayed in the movies. She looks the part when driving, remember the great scenes? I guess the cheesy way to bring her back would be this: The shooter left her for dead, someone found her, she was put in a witness protection program. She was given a fake death certificate and funeral.

She finds out that the gang is still around and the shooter and his boss are dead. She goes after Dom. Simple, we would watch the movie anyway.

Haven't seen the new movie yet but hopefully Brewster can pull off the driving scenes, she doesn't look the part driving in the previews. Correct me if I am wrong but she was never depicted to knowing how to drive dangerously or being allowed to drive, so now she is a great driver?

As far as racing cars...first it's the driver's skills, then the car that's driven is the extension of the skill. If you can't drive the car, you can't handle it, you won't win. I have seen an old 90's F-150 with a 5.0 engine(Decent driver), hold the lead and beat a supped up Jetta(Experienced driver).
