I saw it on Friday afternoon and I actually enjoyed it. I thought that the dialogue wasn't going to win any awards, but the action was good. I'll likely buy it on blu ray when it comes out.
To those that have seen it, is it any better than the last one?
I have only seen the fourth and that Tokyo drift crap.
I did enjoy the fourth, though nothing spectacular.
Oh, and I really don't care for the racing, but is the action good?

Same here. I'm not a fan of the Rock and his acting, but overall the movie was pretty damn good. Women, awesome cars, and fast paced action. If you go in knowing what to expect, you won't be disappointed. Went Friday night and theaters were jam packed. Actually had to switch tickets to a later showing because there was nowhere to sit!Clay;5094265;5094265 said:

What I meant was that, while I do enjoy the racing(love the cars too, though I'm not a car fanatic), I do not mind if it's more action than racing.

The first one was obviously the best... It was the only realistic one... The 4th one was fun to watch, but not realistic at all, starting with the first couple of seconds when he stops the car and the truck luckily bounces directly over him BS...
The last one was really entertaining, but again, not too realistic... It was funny however to watch the Rock fight Vin Diesel...
Fun fact, Tokyo drift is the last movie in the series... The asian kid dies in Tokyo Drift and then he's in this movie... and then at the end of Fast 5 he's talking about going on a trip pretty much around the world, ending in Tokyo...

Also, the first movie is my favorite because they use crappy cars that they've fixed up (like real drag racers do...) these new movies they're using all ferrarris and **** like that... Get the F*** out of here, noone would risk trashing one of those... The black Civic they use at the end of the first ones looked so sick, because they were so basic...
