Favorite Fishing

I'm going to Florida for Christmas break, i'll be sure to do a lot of fishing there. Any one been fishing lately?

I fish every day, over on the Space Coast. Bass bite is picking up in my ponds, the flats fishing is horrilbe though, and offshore their is a lot of kingfish running now.

I personally love fishing for big flatheads when in kansas at the damn there. There is nothing like putting a 6in shiner on a big ass hook and just waiting for the big boys..

But in in florida right now.. so bass fishing is whats good here... sign.. i hate using fake bait except topwater jigs. At Lake Sem. ive only caught a 7 pound bass, i know i suck with lures.

Favorite catches are either large bone fish or giant/blue-fin trevally from the surf. Surprisingly there are pretty decent sized small mouths in Oahu streams and a 3lb smallie on light tackle is fun too.

its all bout the snook for me. Specially on light tackle...

I saw my first one today in a canal it was just huge. Kinda scarey.

I know they are found in canals but this was real far from ocean .
Which I think is their natural enviroment.

by light tackle what do you mean?
