What possible good reason could there be for restricting the use of an informative post based on age. If the information contained with in the post is false we have moderators and reporting systems in place to deal with such a problem.

Whoa-sa, I think you just quoted someone from a long time ago, or else I missed some conversation.
Totally random but I think we should have a post rating system. That way when you ask for advice and someone gives horrible advice, people could rate the post as good or bad. unfortunately, things like this constantly get abused.
