lmao knifegill! I love how you correctly mention that this will still only avoid 30% of the stares.

I read the entire first post without realizing who the author was. I was wondering if you were in San Francisco or something, but now it makes sense.

A pretty girl is a drug to a susceptible male. They were staring because you let them stare. Next time, wear a big ugly sweatshirt, pull your hair back and try not to smile. You'll avoid at least 30% of potential stares this way.

hahah 30% is a start!

you have to be a moron to not be able to tell if a girls hot just cause of a shirt and her hair

I work at a Petsmart near my house and I don't work in the fish section but i've heard some really retarded people like

Customer - Im going to fill my new 55 gallon fish tank with all these colored fish
Fellow Employee (FE) - Ok well have you cycled the water yet?
Customer - No I don't care I just want my fish now and I don't care what they look like
Me - Im just over hearing this conversation look at FE like WTF!!!?
FE - Well to start off a tank you want to get your water cycle started before you can put fish in it
Customer - Well I think they will be fine if I just only put some in at first
Me - again I give FE another WTF is he thinking look
FE - Well I guess you could but odds are you're going to loose some fish
Customer - Thats fine Ill just buy some more. So how many fish could I put in my 55 gallon tank
FE - Well it depends on what kind of fish you put in it
Customer - I want those (points at some tetras)
FE - Well with those you could probably put about 20 of them in the tank since they all get about 2 inches long and as a rule of thumb for every 1 inch of fish you will need 1 gallon
Customer - Well ok so ill have 5 of those 5 of (some other fish) and 5 of (some other fish) and 5 of these cichlids (he butchered the name)
FE - Well if you get the cichlids they will eat all of the other fish. Also I won't sell you all 20 of your fish because I know alot will die. But if you do want to buy all 20 i will not issue you a refund for your fish (14 days)
Customer - Thats fine I don't care just give me my fish and instead of the cichlids ill take these ones I guess

Im standing off to the side just bagging some other fish for people eves dropping on this and after they leave (it was a full family) was just like WTF!?

I've had that same conversation probably 10 times in 6 months Smurf...it's so frustrating. One lady last week opted to buy a 5.5g and all the parts separately when we have a 10g kit for half the price. Then she proceeds to ask me to bag up a clownfish. Uh...explain about the saltwater thing, she was very unhappy...kept asking what she would need to be able to keep it. Finally get her off the clownfish, and she starts picking out other fish. I really, really tried to explain cycling to her and she wouldn't have any of it. Ended up with multiple platies, glofish, neons, and a "sucker fish" for that 5.5g. Sigh.

I had a really funny one today. I walked in on water change day and I saw a bucket with some Guppies and a huge Spotted Rafael Catfish in it. They didn't even know it was in the Guppy tank. I wonder how it got so big  I mentioned it to the guy, and he said he just found it in there, and it stabbed him earlier in the day. I mentioned that it's not idea to pick them up because...

All the color drains out of his face. He goes... "What? Why shouldn't I pick it up?" He started shaking and looked really scared. I told him that they will slice up his hand, but they aren't venomous, etc. The color returned to his face, etc etc.
Then he told me he was getting an Alligator next week :screwy: in a 125g :wall: When it gets too big, his cousin in Florida is gonna release it. A hand raised Alligator loose in Florida, dependant on humans for food, is a scary thought.

Oh, I got the big Rafael for $3 :)
