lol i would of done that... i work at a bar and we had a guy come in already pissed faced and **** himself on the way to the bathroom then missed the toilet with most of it, we made his wife clean it up then barred him o.o

Gotta keep this thread alive....

Last week I had a customer tell me his Pleco ate all the silicone inside the tank, thus causing it to leak.

Also, I love the look on people's faces when I tell them I've got one fish in a 75. I then tell them a close friend of mine has one fish in a 265. They die.

That reminds me of my old boss back when I worked at PetSmart. He (a 40 year old man) **** himself during a meeting, and then went around and boasted about it to all the high school girls that worked there.

Some old guys come into the lfs to buy feeders for there pirahnas. Mary(owner) bags the fish and passes and rings them up. Right when they were about to leave the guy with a mullet drops the goldfish bag onto the floor, bag busts open and goldfish fly everywhere. Mary and me franticly were picking up goldfish and I went and grabbed a mop. Mary bagged up a new batch of goldfish while I mopped up the mess. I went back a week later since I had to get some Prime

On the bright side I did get 20% off on my Hikari Betta bites.

That's why I always say that plecos are not fish for beginners... Got the same problem earlier this year. A guy told me to repair his leaking tank. The leak was at about half the height of the tank, so there always had water in it. When I went to see the tank, I saw the pleco muching algae from the another silicone joint of the tank. The silicone above the pleco was clean while the silicone below it was green. :screwy:

Oh yeah.. I went to a LFS trip in a nearby town yesterday. I was looking for a filter for my fry tanks. I was discussing sponge filters with the guy and he suggested me a powerfilter.
Translated to english:
Owner: I've got a powerfilter for you. 300.
Me: ohh. A 300 litres per hour? That's too powerful.
Owner: No, the price is 300.

At this point I nearly:swear:... But I had a look at his powerfilter anyway. It was way too strong for the fry.

I had the dumbest customers of my entire life today. Firstly, I had to point them in the direction of the saltwater fish (which makes up well more than 50% of the store)

The conversation that followed went something like this..

Me: Well how big is the tank?
Them: Oh IT's HUUUUUUGE (The Wife points to a 500 Gallon display)
Me: Well what are the dimensions?
Them Likeeeee, 5 feet, by 2 feet...
Me: So a around a 120-150?
Them: OH NOOOOOOO! It's like 500 gallons!!

I walked away, and came back a few minutes later.

Them: I was told I need live coral..
Me: Well what kind of lighting system do you have?
Them: The ones you have...
Me: Soooo, VHO's? T5's? Halides?
Them: .......I don't know. How much is this coral?
Me: 79.99
Them: Oh my god all your corals are 79.99?!
Me: No just the one you pointed to.
Them: Oh my god all the corals are 79.99!!!
