Was heading home today from a friends place an hour away. I decided to stop at the Petsmart near his place and pick up some fish food so i wouldn't have to go to my petsmart and I could just head straight home. I dont know where petsmart gets their shipment of fish from (even though i used to work at the one near me) but in the tank labeled Jack Dempseys there was this fish which looked like fairly large bluegill or crappie. I ask the girl what it was and she said "its a Jack Dempsey." So the price tag for the Jack Dempseys says $3.99 so i ask "oh so its only $3.99?" She looks at the tank and the fish for a while then grabs the Green Terror tag, places it on the tank, and says "no its $6.49", I shook my head and walked away.

Perhaps the fish wasnt a blue gill, or 'crappie' ... but rather it was a green terror? Since they are often housed near each other and jump tanks.. ?
Good ole funny customers
Not really a 'customer' store per se, but I was at a petsmart out of state, and I was just browsing around the tanks, and in the feeder tanks I spotted an endli, so I asked the lady can I get that one, and shes like 'ok sure'. Me thinking this would be too good for 0.12c, the cashier looked at it funny, and rang it up at .12c!

I was at my local petland buying some crickets for my fish when some weird guy started asking an employee for goldfish. The employee started reasoning with the manager because the guy turned out to have a very small tank with no filter or anything. The manager ended up saying that it would be ok for now. When I asked the employee what size tank that guy has, she told me, "I didn't get that far yet." Anyway, the guy just kept mumbling about him wanting 3 nice comets.
