oh the best one I heard at petland was.A woman was looking for a 6 gallon tank, the guy was explaining to her what sort of small fishes she could have in that tank. She looks at the EBJD and said oh I can buy him,to put inside the 6 gallon tank,I had to say something to her honestly about that,I said they grow about 6 to 8 inches, depending if its a male or female. You would easily need a much larger tank then that.So that burst her bubble honestly, when I told her that.

^not seriel killer acts. dunno why everyone thinks death=seriel killer

because research shows that nearly every serial killer started as someone who would torture small animals ...

it's not that death=serial killer ... read the story again, and realize that the kid took pleasure in watching the fish slowly die ...

or maybe that's your thing, too ... I don't know ... ;)

Not really customer related, but I didnt want to start a whole new thread for this...

Don't you hate it when people look at your tanks and ask "How do they taste" or some other idiotic question about eating the fish? What do they expect me to do, pull one out of the tank and take a bite? Thats like if I came up to you and asked, "Hey, how does your dog taste" or "Hmm, nice looking baby, a little too small to eat just yet"

:nilly:

BAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I DAMN NEAR PISSED MY SELF LAUGHING :ROFL:

It took me couple days to read up a whole thread , but it was whorted
I'm not really experienced fish keeper but some people are nuts lol

Haha, spiritofthesould punched a kid in the eye, and you want assume that a 7-9 yr old will be a serial killer because he let a fish die? What does this say about spiritofthesoul? Do you have no seperation between humans and animals? Or are humans and animals of the equal? The kid killing the fish was far from necessary, but you and the others praising spiritofthesould for punching a kid in the face obviously have their priorities mixed up!

was at lps and a customer wanted rtc for 10 gallon. i over heard him asking so i said 10 gallons should last the month then explained he would need a new tank. customer replied when it out grows 10 g he had a 75 that he has his oscars in. i looked to the kid from store to step in. after that guy left asked why he didnt say anything and all he could say was i cant argue with 90 percent of customers and he wishes there were permits for keeping anything other then goldfish

^^ I understand that.. you really can't argue with ALL of them, it' just too damn taxing :\

hey, creepyoldguy, please show me where I praised the guy for punching a kid in the face? I said exactly the opposite ... but thanks for lumping in with the rest ... nice work

I don't come here to get into p---ing contests, but it would be nice if people knew what they were talking about

These last couple days have been bad for customers doing stupid things. At least 4 customers wanted to buy fish, keep them in the bag overnight, unwrap the tank in the morning for christmas then put the fish in. Luckily my coworker got stuck talking to most of these people. We also had a couple people wanting to do this with birds and hampsters. Most people just left with a gift certificate.
