Seen the dead a few times including when Pigpen was alive. Same for Little Feat with Lowell. My first ever concert was Hendrix and the ticket cost $1 Never got to see the Beatles but saw the Stone in 69 in Baltimore. We had almost one whole row of center seats  They have never been better.

Sounds like you've got a couple of years on me. Some great concerts you have there. Saw the Dead a few times but pigpen had already passed. Also saw the Allman Bros, Charlie Daniels Band, New Riders & Aerosmith when they first started. Would have loved to see Hendrix & Stones those must have been great shows. Wish I had an opportunity to see "The Band" but did see Rick Danko & Paul Butterfield play together. We had great music back then. Never paid a buck for a show but most were only 5 or 6 dollars. The most I ever paid for a concert was 10 bucks and thought that was expensive. LOL

I saw the Grateful Dead 60 times, and associated acts more than 30 times, from 88 to 95. Some of the most fun ;) I've ever had. Those were the days,,,

My bro is a big deadhead. He still goes to the shows with some Dead survivors as well as cover bands. In the 1970s I was a partner in a sound company based in the Hartford CT area. We did a lot of college shows. Our first gig was the Ohio Players, and from there we worked with folks like Muddy Waters, Donald Byrd and the BlackByrds, Climax Blues Band, Doc and Merle Watson (recorded and broadcast on PBS), Sha Na NA, NRBQ, The Rhinestones, Taj Mahal and a bunch of others. We provided sound equipment for the Count Basie Orchestra and for Tito Puente. We did a benefit jazz show put together by Jackie McLean, I stood about two feet behind Max Roach as he did a drum solo. I was behind the curtain whis was open a tad and I could wat him without being seen by the audience. Despite his age his finger technique was amazing. The sticks were a blur.

I did mostly the out front mix but also a few monitor mixes at shows. Another side benefit was we had friends who had a lighting company and when they were short handed I would run spots for them or even di the main lighting mix for the opening act.

This was in another lifetime. I left that business to go work for 18 months in Saudi Arabia,

The last live show I was at was String Cheese incident a few years ago. We have a great venue about 25 niutes from us. During the pandemic they stream shows. We just saw Dave Bromberg's 50th with hos Big band and special guests. Bro watched 4 days of Billy Strings shows this past week- free

I love searching youtube for music, especially from live shows. Here is a treat for fans of JJ Cale, may he R.I.P.
