Feeding Lionfish

I know there is a bunch of topics discussing feeding lionfish. I've only seen people saying they like live food. I've tried a bunch of different things besides live food and have no seen the fish eat. He seems like he's searching for food. What would be the best live food to feed. For example I know for freshwater stingrays any healthy ray will not refuse blackworms. Is there something specific that the lionfish will always eat?

Just got a little Black Volitan had him for 3 wks now eating good on pieces of raw shrimp and krill.

I used live brine to get many fish to start to eat. The problem is it is like ice cream for fish. They will eat it but not very nutritious.

Anything is better then nothing.

How long until he started eating? Did you continue to try raw shrimp and eventually he started eating it?

i have a lion fish and i feed it raw shrimp from the super market. It's the only thing it'll eat. My lion fish is kind of special though because she won't eat unless i hand feed her.

I have gotten plenty of them to eat whole frozen krill.

I've been trying krill soaked in garlic.

Yeah, I tried that this morning. He seemed timid and turned away as he backed up.
