There are 8 other small fish, a couple Tetras, 2 Mickeymouses, 2 Molly's, and 2 neon Tetras. Just cheapies the kids picked out. Hopefully they get eaten one day. Lol.
I think I need to do another water change in the morning.
Makes perfect sense about the little fish not enough to get the tank ready. Out of curiosity, it would have been better to have a tank going with big fish? I knew the rays were coming so I bought fish I knew wouldn't hurt the rays.
Yes Nitrite. I got ya. Gonna find all in one test kit tomorrow.
I want worms! I don't like the bloodworms. But it's February in Pittsburgh, I can't find earthworms. Guess I will order them. Should I try frozen shrimp from grocery store instead of mysis? I just want to fatten them up quick. Whatever it takes.
And yes, Cayman rays are huge. The biggest one I held was between 2-3 feet, but there were a bunch swimming around that were huge. Definitely the most amazing experience, standing a half mile away from shore with 30 rays swimming around your feet. Nothing like it in the world. I also swam with them in Half Moon Cay, Bahamas. (Hence their names
