Both are awsome picks, both have personality, and are mean as sin. One has bigger choppers, the other has brilliant almost glowing coloration. Either way, you can't go wrong..

I have a pair (6 inch male & 4 inch female) but theyve yet to spawn. My female is red, but more of an orangish red and only on the front half of her body. That is maroon looking on his...and its her full body. Ive never seen it like that.

Nice. They are relatively faster growers than festae (or were for me anyways). My female Red Tiger is 2nd in charge in my 280 gal, and shes the next to last in size. She has a section in the middle of my tank she doesnt let anyone but my male festae near. Very interactive as well. As for the male, he hides out most of the time. The only one in the tank that has never come to the top to eat when I feed them...and hes been that way his whole life. Hes a beautiful speciamen though. As of late, his face has been full of turquoise specks. I got them both from Rapps.

WOW. How big was she at the time? and was she from a Rapps order about...5 months ago?

That is seriously the reddest Ive ever seen...and the most coverage of red that Ive ever seen.

she was around 6.5-7" I got her from rapps but last September

she wasn't breeding at the time but she has bred once unsuccessfully, she was covered in red at a small size though not very intense around 3" heres a pic mohinder also had a very red female

red tiger mota i have a female that's just as red as any festae if not redder I also prefer the more predatory look and large teeth, also i think male red tigers re better looking than male festae

Very apparent that You have never kept Fesate.Don't get Me wrong, I like the rtm too(curently have both) but it's hands down Festae in the looks department!
