The best way for me is clove oil. 3 drops per cup of aquarium water, then higher after that if needed. Freezing is cruel. You can find 100% clove oil at most health food shops.


DONT PUT HIM DOWN UNLESS YOU ARE FOR SURE YOU CANT SAVE HIM!

thanks to everyone who responded to my post but BFF ( big fat f******) is gone , it became obvious he was ucomfortable and I believe in a lot of pain , the clove oil worked very good , seemed very sedated till he passed, this fish totaly revived my passion for the hobby ,he may have been my first flowerhorn , but he most certainly wont be my last . I can't wait for the new year , as 2010 was as rough as it can get for a man.pic of the BFF in his glory days.
