I picked other because though I do have a fluval and an aquaclear hob, I also use a sump on one setup and have 2 eheim 2329 and 1 eheim 2229. Oh and I shouldn't leave out that I use a marineland canister and emperor 400 on one set up. Variety is the spice of life no?

Very surprised that Eheim and Marineland, two of the most common and well-liked filters, are not in the list. Look at the results, see how many people are selecting "other", nearly 30% at the time of my post? This is an indication that the poll is flawed. Correctly designed, the available choices would cover more than 90% of the responses, with "other" as a small minority of responses.
If this is a repeat of an earlier poll, these flaws should have been addressed before repeating. Maybe next time?
If it really IS all about helping people, then it is much more helpful to include the most common choices so people can actually SEE what brands are more popular, instead of lumping many of the popular choices together into a single category.
I use Lustar HydroSponges, so "other" is my response.
Here is my suggestion for choices in the next poll:

Aquaclear
Aqueon
Eheim
Fluval
HydroSponge
Marineland

Other - Eheim. Planning a sump for my dream tank.

use pond canister filters with internal pump seems to work well more media area and quieter with great flow.

DIY sumps for economic reasons. Also great for refugiums and hiding heaters and such.

Smaller tanks, ac hobs are great, marineland too.

Not all of us can drop the bucks on fx5s

Personaly for large tanks i like ocean clear and nu-clear canister if you do the right set up you'll get amazing resault, i had a panworld rated at 780 gph high pressure pump hook to 3 canisters first a microm and the others fill with biomedia, easy to maintain, i had an extra microm for service soak it in bleach with water over night, they last forever this set up was a 220 gallon with 25 hungry discus also i had a eheim 2250 on this set up, my other option are eheim for smaller tanks, i've had fx5 and sold it because lack of media and can't used pads for polishing the water
