Finally found baby BGK - load warning.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
A ten will work for a little while if you have lots of caves.
Mine are in a 20 gal right now and they have lots of caves but there is still some chasing. I hope to move them to a 45 gal in the next couple of weeks... hopefully that will give them a enough room for a few months.

They are so cool to watch. One of them likes to play in the current from the filter... he puts his nose up and just lets the water carry him across the aquarium... then he goes back and does it again. They love to play - just like little kids.

Anything new you put in the tank has to be thoroughly inspected - by everyone. It is so cute to see. I hope they this outgoing.

take some more pics! right now i have 3 gold and 2 silver clowns together. they are like little kids for sure. do the bgk fight at all ???

I bought the 10g tank coz i'm kinda worried that they aren't eating (with all the fishes in my 100g tank). But this is temporary. I'm gonna buy a 100g tank for my fahaka puffer, so the 4 bgk will be transfered to my 50g tank.

In a smaller tank it will be much easier to make sure they eat - good move.

I have had to cut back on the feedings... I was seeing very round little tummies so I cut back on the bloodworm and gave them a little more flake. Since they spend most of the day looking for food the flake tends to keep them busier then bloodworm.

I have lots of new pics but I have to actually upload them to my computer so that I can post some ... I just keep taking more :)

I will go through them an upload some of the better pics soon... like the little guy who sleeps in the plant.

One of my bgk who is th biggest among the four died today around 4 1/2 inch, i just did a 50% WC after I changed the water I went to sleep, and then when I wake up today and about to go to work, I noticed the bigger bgk is laying on its side, I was about to poke him when he moved. I already knew that he was about to die coz he has been breathing heavily and how he swam was kind of abnormal.

I was thinking of the water quality coz the three other guys are still kind of stressed out (one is laying on its side but still fine). Then I remembered that the people that have been constructing the roads outside (or replacing the water pipes) of our house. I think after they changed the pipes (really big pipes) that caused the problem. I also noticed that the bgk that died has some blood on its tail (this I don't know what happend).

So those who have been keeping bgk, don't use tap water incase someone from the government agency has been reconstructing/replacing your water pipes around your area. Instead get water from one of your tanks.

Will post pics when I'm back home.

Sorry to hear that Dark_Knights.
Do you have another source of water - maybe bottled water for a little while until things are back to normal?

Hope the others are OK.

Here is the little fella that died, notice the red thing or blood on its tail.
