Finally got my tank going (56K warning)

Hi Jason, thanks so much. I got the co2 back and I couldn't even tell it had been gone. We lucked out this time!! I'm sure your new Monster Tank will look amazing. Please start a journal so I can follow it. Happy belated birthday!

For my birthday I just upgraded to a 125. I doubt it will look as nice as your big tank, but I defiantly hope so.

Lots of shrimp...those Amano shrimp I got from the invertz_factory are absolutely HUGE. I have never seen them this big. I wonder if they reall are amano???

Every thing is looking great. Amanos are supposed to be quite a bit bigger than the cherries. Your cherries look nice and fat too.

So are you going on another business trip? Or have you decided to do one update per month?

Thanks Jason. How are you doing?? I read your journal the other day. It looks like it's starting to shape up too. I love that piece of wood. Looks like you need some Altums or Wild Discus now; or both...:naughty:

Not a business trip....it's pleasure. We have rented a house in Cave Creek Arizona and are spending the month of March there. We are taking our 2 dogs with us too. We have never done this before and I'm pretty excited. I just got a fresh CO2 canister and my house sitter will feed the fish, top off the tank, and fertilize every day. She's going to take care of the hubbies wild birds too (filling feeders and taking them in each night ~ darn racoons!!) This is why I have held off on adding any Discus, I couldn't leave them for a month without a water change. ;)

OOps, sorry, I didn't see this the first time. Thanks for the comments. I have had Amano shrimp before from AZGardens and they were never this big. I swear these are 2 1/2 inches long. Those are adult RCS and they are an inch long. I got these from the invertz_factory. I highly reccomend them.
