hello again,

The fry still exists, there are still more than I exspected to survive. The parents defend them pretty agressive, not even the tetras can come close.
Today or tomorrow the wigglers should start free swimming.
WIth such good parents I still have hope for some little ones to make it.
It is awesome to see how careful the female searches every spot to not leave any wiggler alone when she moves them into another pit. When the male takes her place, she swims towards him until they meet, and he swims to the fry to watch them until mommy comes back. Such a great parental behaviour...

have a nice day

hello again,

the wigglers are free swimming now and looking pretty good and healthy...
My guess is about 100 little striped babymonsters ;-) pretty happy so many survived.
The female is around to watch them carefully and no other fish except the male is allowed to come close.
Within the next days we will see if they become as brave and strong as their parents :)
Here are some pictures of the proud parents with fry.

hey everyone,

I really don´t know how they do this, because I only feed them one piece of Sera O- nip once every day... But those little sweeties keep growing like hell...
Well, we have about 28°C in germany, so that also pushes their growth...
The pictures show them as big as they are today.
The biggest one of them wanted to be on the picture on is own, so here he is.
Sweet, isn´t he?

hey ho,

just to keep you updated on my little monsters,
here are some pics of the sweeties, taken today.
They love the high temperatures with the tropical climatic circumstances, so they have grown to little real fish in the meantime. Just compare them today to the pics of tuesday, you clearly see the difference.
