Thanks, I'll probabely go bare tank since it's much easier maintainence doing wc's on such a huge beast. Also filtration so far will be FX5 x 3, AC110 x 2 and 1200gph powerheads x 2. I'll probabely be adding a UV sterilizer later on and connect it to one of the FX5's. For the stock so far will be 16-17" Silver Aros x 3, 13" Pbass x 2, and a 13" RTC.

;ove the new tank.. hope the f;oort can support the huge weight....

Thanks, ya I double checked and made sure my floor can handle the weight before purchasing the new monster;) My foundation is concrete so should be no problem handling the weight. I have 700 gallons of water in my place and if something goes wrong I'd be very screwed:WHOA:

it took 8 semi strong guys to lift it and it wasn't easy. I used the dolly method to bring it into my place.

Dimensions are 8'x3'x2.5'

Thank you. I also can't wait to set it up but I want to make sure this tank is fully ready and dry before adding 2 tons of water. The tank itself was just finished building last week so I'll give it another week to be on the safe side.

Smart man on waiting. Besides, you can start plumbing.

I would paint the background.

There is something about a bare bottom tank with a tastefully chosen pieces of Driftwood with live plants growing on it. I hope you go this route. This is what I would do and it looks superb.

Here is an example:

VinLwj's

These dont have live plants growing on the wood but you know what I'm saying? just clean.

This has my vote! Oh, except that painting the background wouldn't be great as you could otherwise see into it from the kitchen too.

His tank is going tobe moved back against the wall Wet Whiskers:banher::D.
