Okay put it this way these two very well could be a midas/ or Red Devil hybrid crossed with a FH. The fact is though when you breed a batch of FH fry. All the fry do not come out the same. Some come out looking like the mother others like the father. That is why when you are breeding Red Texas in your batch you will have some coming out looking like a parrot and some more with a Texas body. If yours are FH mixed and they very well could be. In fact I do think they are due to the one's stubbed face. The fact is unfortunately they came out looking more like a Red Devil more than a FH and that makes them low grade period any way you look at it. However if the fish owner is happy with the fish it does not matter! I have kept many low grade fish just due to a personality that I liked.
Now to address this quote--As for Platinum - aren't Platinum supposed to be a clean white, not pearly like yours? Correct me if I'm wrong...
ANSWER you are wrong and now have been corrected. Platinum FH have always had some pearl in the strain. How much depends on the breeding stock
Now OddBall to address your ? In a perfect pick of a Platinum FH the fish should have the shape or body of ZZ or JK flowerhorn, have good pearl, and have RED in it as well. Vanz's Platinum posted in this thread is an Excellent Platinum and has all good quality's that you are looking for in the strain with a bonus even of a large head (something that this strain is not known for) however the only thing it lacks is RED. So in a perfect world this fish would have red in it too and thus the intentions of the Platinum strain does not go against normal FH standards. I hope I helped?
