Finally - Ultima 10,000 Setup

Is it a little cloudy or you see particles floating around? If cloudy try some kind of water clarrifier it bonds the particles together better so the filter catches them easy. I have had great results with the Bio magnet clarifier from caribsea

Now that this filter is running, what would you suggest to "polish" the water? It still seems kinda cloudy, not the clear Im used to when I had the Emperor 400 filters running on it.

Your filter has not cycled yet. Bet your ammonia and nitrite are high. Takes at least a month.

One thing I just noticed is you used a 3600gph on an Ultima 10,000. Ultima 10,000 requires a flow of 5,000gph to 7,500gph at 10-ft head. The filter is over-size. Your pump may not strong enough to circulate all the media.

Now that I look at it, its not that bad...I guess maybe because everything is black in there it doesnt seem as clear and there are no rocks, etc.
The tank is def not cycled as expected, Ive been doing small water changes and using AmmoLock.
