That's the same question I also asked above. I'm curious to see what people's opinions are, because fact is, if the neighbor wouldn't have called, the FD would have never shown up. People could have died, all because of a idiotic fee.

Now, let's say this was a person that lived miles away from another homes. His house is on fire, he calls the FD, and they don't show up because he didn't pay his fee. His kids die in the fire. What then? Same situation. Is it still acceptable? Is then this $75 a fee you just placed on someone's life? Because that's what I'm getting from the info I've read.
